Impressive Picture Rock Designs

Through millions of years of volcanic activity, heat, oceans, erosion, and compression, a great sandstone stratum was formed to chronicle the geologic evolution of Mother Earth. Sierra stone is a rare sandstone found in the White Mountains of Northeastern Arizona. Raw iron bands make up the beauty of this stone, which is also called “Picture Rock”. No two pieces are the same. Each piece has a unique pattern that is an artist’s delight.
